The Man Who Walked on Earth Last 2000 years

 Many might not read this and look at it uninteresting. But I really recommend you, reader, to at least just try to have a little sneak. I would promise this feature wouldn’t be a tiresome article to read at.

To all of the famous ones, who came to live on Earth, who is most remembered? Let’s try to recall… Is it, Albert Einstein? Could it be, Adolf Hitler? Is it, Michael Jackson? Could it be, Leonardo Da Vinci? Is it, Queen Cleopatra VII? Could it be, Ferdinand Marcos? Or would it be, JESUS CHRIST?

We all know who is Jesus, the Savior, right? He is the well-known Son of God. He is described by John as the “word became flesh” (John 1:1-2). For you, reader, who is JESUS? Well, that’s what we’re going to know as we grow in our Spiritual Life little by little as God reveals Himself and have a summary of discussion in this feature.

Before Christ, the early believers waited for their Hope and Life as the Father promised. It took more than centuries to fulfill the prophecy. Imagine, the fathers of our father’s parents’ fathers’ grandparents’ fathers’ parent’s parents tried to wait for the Son! This is a crave for the followers and children of God as a ticket pass to Heaven that only His Son’s ID, the only ID that could pass, could be rendered to us, unworthy. How amazing and wonderful that even if we’re stubborn black sheep, always fooled by the wolves, our Shepherd risked His own Son to save us.

But, the question is, why God the Father couldn’t go down from Heaven? That’s kind of typical. Yes, He can’t. In the reason because, the curse is still in our hearts and this curse is the well-known unhealed sickness called SIN. If He went down, worse thing could happen (around Exodus 20). And, in this case, someone should die for the sin. Someone with a perfect score and had zero mistake/s. Who could it be? Who is brave enough to die for the sins of others? No one could.

Not me, not you, not they, but the Son, our LORD, in the fact because, we all sinned and it is hereditary. The penalty of sin is death and JESUS CHRIST could only pay that debt.

So, what did God do? Because our Heavenly Father so Loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but Have eternal life (John 3:16). He made a prophecy with His prophet Isaiah giving a sign that it would be borne by a virgin and be named Immanuel meant “God with us” (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23). This is the celebration of Hope and Life. This is the most awaited celebration and fiesta of a Hope that we could enter Heaven through CHRIST.

Bible Scholars say that our Lord began His ministry in His 30th year of existence on Earth. He walked through miles and distance just to announce the good news. We might be amazed knowing how awesome God is. Don’t need to sneak peak with the Father, by just looking at our LORD we already saw our God (John 14:9). Have you noticed? He humbled

Himself by choosing to be delivered in an inn for animals (Luke 2:4-7). He is full of wisdom but came from a poor family. He showed the wrong by spreading the truth (Romans 12:21). He chose past sinful people that are now His disciples (Matthew 4:18-22, Mark 1:16-20) saying that everyone is welcomed to His kingdom. How great God is!

Now, the critical part… Have you read about Judas’ betrayal? Do you know, that JESUS CHRIST even ordered Him self’s arrestment (Matthew 26:20-25, Mark 14:17-21, Luke 22:14, 21-23, John 13:21, 22)? Still, He continued His mission and kept on praying for the souls whom have hated Him. Could you imagine that kind of feeling? I think not. Honestly, could you die for a person who had owed you? And, let’s say, could you die for your most loved person? Yet, that person hated you most? Could you still die for him? Most of us would say “NO”. But what did JESUS did? He died for the fault of men for LOVE even if we HATED, PERSECUTED, and REBELLED against this Mighty Prince of Peace.

Well, didn’t JESUS CHRIST take our debts on His last days on Earth? Sin is the deadliest virus that poisons soul and separate man and God. In those severe moments, JESUS CHRIST felt the separation. That was the reason why He said, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?”… The word “Eli” is a Hebrew word and the rest of the sentences were Aramic. It meant, JESUS THE CHRIST OUR LORD felt the outpouring of the Divine Wrath on Him as the sin-bearer. Difficulty isn’t the word to describe the pain that CHRIST felt. Hard isn’t also the word to describe the punishment that was on Him. Painful isn’t the right description for the tears shed by the LORD but DIFF-ARD-AINFUL (combination of Difficult, Hard & Painful). What would you feel if people you loved hated you? What would you feel if the debts of your loved one who hated you were so high in price? Could you still withstand the pressure? No can do mister. CHRIST can only do it.

After JESUS CHRIST’s meeting with Mr. Death, He then was resurrected. Can you still follow? JESUS CHRIST did not just stand up and fought the attacks of the Devil to this innocent dirty world, He also ruled Death and Life. He is truly the Son of God! No one is humble enough to be a King who served His servants. No one is perfect enough to resist the temptation of the Evil One. No one is wit enough to handle the crazy questions and tasks upon. No one is brave enough to feel the scratch of rusted nails, horrible laughs, carry heavy loads. No one, no one. No one but He who is obedient, humble, mighty, perfect, wise and brave. Honestly, we cannot sincerely do that. Just a bit pinch would make us cry, or just a bit offend from our friends would make us mad.

Now, I know, we all know who He really is. I just featured this to be an additional note and reminders to us, as teenagers, are almost forgetting to lean upon Him… It is because of the projects, homework, and studies to be finished. Still, it can’t be the excuse to forget about it.

As I said a while ago, NO ONE COULD EVER DO THIS KIND OF SACRIFICE BUT THE MAN WHO WALKED LAST 2000 YEARS. Can we do the same? Spreading the good news isn’t just by sayingevangelium nuntiare but also by acting as a model to our fellow children and by implementing within ourselves the HUMILITY of the LORD, His overpowering BRAVEITY and COMMITMENT to our LOVING FATHER, so do we. Don’t put yourselves down. Age doesn’t matter. What does matter is what you believe. Just look closely to our LORD’s content. Didn’t He started a journey without money and influence at all? He preached Three consecutive years but this short-time of preach was remembered Two Millenniums. Let’s start and do the same. GODBLESS!!
